Yakima Valley Hearing & Speech Center
The Yakima Hearing & Speech Center (HSC) is a not-for-profit community agency that has served the Yakima community since 1971. The staff consists of 12 speech language pathologists, four audiologists and two educators.
In our clinic, we offer:
- Speech services. We provide comprehensive evaluations and therapy programs for aphasia, apraxia, articulation delay, dysphagia, dysarthria, language delay, myofunctional disorders, stuttering, voice disorders, feeding impairment and velopharyngeal incompetence.
- Audiology services. We can conduct hearing evaluations and provide hearing loss solutions, including hearing aids.
- Education. We offer a class for children three and younger who are hard of hearing, so these children can develop effective communication skills. We also host peer groups to help people develop appropriate language and feeding skills.
We are committed to understanding the needs of our patients and their families, and we strive to offer the therapies that can help our patients to achieve their goals. Excellence is our expectation.
Yakima Valley Hearing & Speech Center is licensed as part of Sunnyside Community Hospital and Clinics and the patient may receive a separate charge for billing for the facility, which may result in a higher out-of-pocket expense.
